Pre-Construction Consulting (7/11 Consulting Program*)
Architectural Review
aquaForensics offers a 7-point architectural review of a project's construction documents. The architectural review is an examination of the schematics or construction drawings, details and specifications, and other project information that defines the water protection systems of a building. aquaForensics evaluates the building design to identify areas of concern, understand whether individual components are properly integrated to avoid water intrusion, and provide recommendations to modify construction materials or details to meet your architectural and system selection goals.
Inspection and Testing Protocols
aquaForensics assists clients in developing formalized written inspection and testing programs that monitor installation and verify the performance of a moisture- or water- repelling system.
Documentation and Documentation Control
aquaForensics helps clients establish documentation protocols and controls to ensure problems are identified, communicated, and corrected. Documentation and the management of documentation are critical to QC/QA efforts and to ensuring that water intrusion problems are addressed and resolved during the course of construction.
Course of Construction Consulting (7/11 Consulting Program*)
Construction Monitoring/Quality Assurance
aquaForensics provides third- party on-site observation services to assist our clients in monitoring and documenting critical waterproofing systems during the course of construction.
aquaForensics observes and documents both the installation and testing of building systems during construction and provides a written final report at the project's completion.
Post-Occupancy Consulting
One-Year Anniversary Inspection or Building Check-Up
aquaForensics conducts post-construction property inspections one year after construction or on a predetermined date. A post-construction inspection serves to identify conditions that may require repair or alert property owners to maintenance issues requiring attention. Post-construction inspections support good building practices and provide information to reduce future problems and the possibility of litigation.
